This is a sweet book full of colourful character's. It tells the story of the folks from Whistlestop from various perspectives. Flagg's use of humour is very entertaining. My main criticism is that because of the various perspective's, it can jump around a bit, and with so many character's it's hard to remember who is who. I did enjoy the movie better, but I'm glad I read the book. I give it 3 and a half stars.
